The Latest form T.I., Lupe, and Pitbull

Songs from T.I., Lupe Fiasco, and Pitbull were released this month. An all in one review of the three:

 T.I.  – Go Get It

T.I. is back with a new leak from his fall album Trouble Man produced by T Minus.T.I.’s signature style is showcased over a Drake-esque beat (which figures since T Minus produced six songs from Drake’s Take Care album). Rapping about the hustler lifestyle is what T.I. is best at expressing and “Go Get It” stays true to that. The beat is hard but mellow enough to be chill-music.

Pitbull  – Get It Started

Mr. Worldwide’s latest song stays true to his dance tunes and features, collaborating with Colombian beauty Shakira. “Get It Started” is the lead single from Pitbull’s seventh studio albumGlobal Warming. This song is a definite fit for radio now and on its way to becoming another hit for Pitbull.

 Lupe Fiasco – Bitch Bad

First hearing the name “Bitch Bad” as the name of a hip hop song, it’s assumed that the song is about typical hip hop fodder. But this is Lupe Fiasco and his rhymes are conscious. Lupe takes the term and dissects it smartly in a way that listeners don’t always recognize. A bitch can be bad and a bitch can be good. A stripped beat and easy flow makes it easy to pay attention to the words and provoke a conversation about the topic.
